I have extended the deadline for this challenge it was suppose to run until Jan 7th! Have a Happy New Years!

This will be our last challenge of 2010. Wow it is hard to believe another year is almost gone and that we are only 8 days from Christmas. Are you ready for it? I am not! That is sad to say I never wait this late. We will be back Jan 8th with a new challenge!

Our prize this week is going to be a surprise. Consider it a Christmas gift to whoever wins it...lol

This week our challenge is Christmas! I know it is similar to last weeks but what can I say I was in a Christmas mood! It is a perfect time to scrap last years pictures if you haven't yet so that you will be ready for the new ones. So show us those Christmas pages with at least one stamp!

Coloring paper with fabric dye

Here is a fast and fun techinque tutorial by Jowlina.  We hope you will give it a try and let us know what you think.  It goes along with this weeks challenge!

1. Mix fabric dye with water in a spray bottle and mix well by shaking.

2.  Spray your paper liberally with the dye and leave to dry naturally or dry using your heat gun.

3. Cut your paper and use on your project.

*avoid cutting wet paper as it will tear – so let it dry totally!

Try coloureing lace, flowers or ribbons to match your paper for a unified look on your projects

Thanks for joining us for another Scrap and Stamp challenge. A big thanks to Lisa for covering for me the last several weeks. I have gotten so much done. I will be catching up on emails in the next couple of days.

It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is almost here. Where has the year gone? Due to the upcoming holiday we will be taking next week off to spend with our families so you will have extra time to play along with this challenge. Our next challenge is will be posted on Dec. 4th.

The challenge is to color with fabric dye. You can color paper, cardstock, lace, fabric or flowers and use it on your layout. Be sure to use at least one stamp too. If you need some inspiration for this please check our the tutorial in the previous post by Jowilna!

Fall Activities or Sports

Thank you for joining in on our challenges! Don't forget you have 2 weeks to finish the challenges now. It is absolutely FREEZING here in Alaska. I can't stay warm no matter how many layers I wear! Time to stay inside, light some candles and scrap the days away!
